The Breeds Village is one of our favourites, this years 12 rare breeds include Welsh Pony and Cob Society, Australian Stock Horse, The Fell Pony Society, Irish Draught, Lusitano, Exmoor Pony Society, Caspian, New Forest, Mules, Quarter Horse, Dales Pony Society, and Highland Pony Society.

You will also want to check out the Simulator Zone new for 2009. Here you can test your riding, dressage and racing skills with a specialist instructor on hand to provide feedback for improvement. This is expected to be very popular and if you want to avoid disappointment you can book a slot on the day.

Ghost Hunting in Your Hunter Wellingtons

Hunter Wellingtons are perfect for the Autumn, with dropping temperatures and our thoughts awakening to all things spooky and imaginative. To celebrate this creepy season why not put your Hunter boots on and take the Stratford upon Avon Original Ghost Walk. This spine chilling tour is led by ghost author, broadcaster and researcher Dave Matthews the owner of Creaky Cauldron museum in Henley Street. The tour takes you through the narrow alleyways of one of the oldest and strangest market towns in England and is guaranteed to send a shiver down your spine and chill you to your very core.

The Creaky Cauldron also holds the Annual Stratford upon Avon Halloween Festival with spooktacular events from ghost walks, ghost hunts, competitions and more that will run for the whole month of October.
